We, the Syro Malabar Catholic community of Cleveland, are united by the body and blood of Jesus Christ in the name of our Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Our Mission life will be centered on the Eucharist and aimed to achieve spiritual and societal growth rooted in Christian values. We proclaim His Gospel and share His Love, with prayer support of Arch Angel St Raphael, our Patron Saint. Our faith community pursues this mission through prayer, meaningful liturgy, religious education and social outreach programs. We invite all people from diverse walks of life, to join our fellowship and enrich our relationship with Jesus Christ.
The Greater Cleveland region of Ohio is renowned for its medical institutions and great many of our congregation work in medical-related service jobs. Therefore, St. Raphael (Raphael means "God heals") was chosen as the Patron saint for our mission, as he is the patron of the nurses and physicians, travelers and of happy meetings. He is one of seven Archangels who stand before the throne of the Lord.
